Q:	I've already got my own web site, so why should I get involved with KillerWhale.NET?
A:	We'll expose you to a new customer base. KillerWhale.NET will overwhelm the area with info about Mt Airy. It's simply a site one must visit to find out what's going on in the area. We're providing detailed information about the Fire Dept, InfoWeb, Daily Carnival updates... etc. We're actively involved with the local non-profit organizations. Assuming you have the greatest web site on the planet, it does not guarantee you'll get the exposure you want or need. You will naturally put your WEB address in your own ads, but if the customer gets as far as reading your ad, then they're already a potential customer anyway. Your current "Internet Service Provider" (ISP) does not run any ads with your company name. Right? They are interested in promoting their own services. This is OK for them to do this.... but this is what makes us different. We have created a "Virtual Mall" for the local community, with a FREE page for every business in the area. We have invested time and money into the local economy to try and get Mt Airy into the hi-tech arena.
Q:	Why should I pay KillerWhale to do a WEB site for me? I've got a friend who will do it for next to nothing.
A:	You get what you pay for. You would be very foolish not to take advantage of looking twice the size of your competition. Even a person working out of their basement can have a WEB presence that blows away a much larger company. Don't cut back in this area. Let a solid company like KillerWhale.NET do the work. A:	$50 one-time setup fee $29.95 per month for 1 year.
Q:	I'd like to participate in the Mt Airy Donation Program. Is there a Fee required?
A:	Currently there is no Fee required to participate in the Donation Coupon Program.
Q:	Will we be removed from the website if we don't do the coupon?
A:	NO. Every business gets on FREE page with no strings attached.
Q:	Where does KillerWhale.NET advertise and how often?
A:	Mt Airy Messenger and Mt Airy Gazette. We're shooting for at least one full page ad per month. The Gazette donates one full page per month to the "Mt Airy Info Source". Since we exclusively sponsor "The Mt Airy Info Web", we get a large banner at the bottom of this free ad. We have plans for Radio advertising as well.
Q:	Is any of the space on your print ads available for me to buy?
A:	Sometimes yes. Please contact our sales dept for costs. Price may vary depending on publication and position. Radio advertising is also planned.
Q:	How many hits has KillerWhale gotten??
A:	Prior to doing any marketing at all, we were getting 30+ hits per day. With print ads running, we will get a new hit count figure. We're shooting for 200-300 hits per day in the local area.
Q:	Why the name KillerWhale.NET?
A:	It was available. We secured both KillerWhale.NET and KillerWhale.COM. We also wanted something that has a caricature associated with the name. Since our famous "COWBOY" on Rt 27 has been extremely successful for almost 20 years, we wanted to carry on the tradition. Also, children love KillerWhales, and the photo of this mammal is quickly identifiable.
